Our Story
Fifth Kin Collective began with a simple question. What if we built a life intentionally instead of living by default? Our family is creating a place where family, stewardship, and community come together. We're sharing the journey as we learn, build, and grow.
Where It Began
We didn't set out to build a brand. We set out to build a different kind of a life. Like many families, we reached a point where we began asking harder questions: were we spending our time on what mattered most? Were we caring for our health, our family, and our community in the way that we wanted to? We believed there had to be another way. Fifth Kin Collective began as our commitment to explore that question openly, to learn as we go, and to share what we discovered.

We are building Fifth Kin Collective as a living experiment rooted in stewardship, community and lifelong learning. Our hope is that by sharing our journey, we can offer ideas, encouragement, and inspiration to others who want to build a life that reflects what matters most to them.
What is Fifth Kin?
Fifth Kin is our way of describing the family we choose to build, not only through blood, but through shared values, stewardship, belonging, and community. It represents the people who walk alongside us as we learn, grow, and care for one another and the world around us. The word collective reflects our belief that meaningful change happens together.
Fifth Kin Collective is more than a place or a project, it's an invitation to reconnect with what matters most through our family's journey. We hope to inspire others to live more intentionally, care for the land, strengthen their relationships, embrace lifelong learning, and create communities where people and nature can thrive together.
